Hey,
I'm migrating our systems fra ARS 6.3 to 7.5.
I have this filter then makes a Run Process action caling the runmacro.exe with
params. The call goes like this:
runmacro.exe -h "C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem" -d
"C:\Remedyresources\ARCmds" -x "serverName" -a "portNo" -e "macroName" -U
userName -P password -p "df"="$df$" -p "dt"="$dt$" -p "se1"="$se1$" -p
"Report"="$Filsti$"
What this macro is supose to do is make at report file and place in then
"Filsti" location (danish for file path).
The first problem is that, and please notice that it's a filter, the location
on then server (-d) for the macro is not recognized. If I place the macro in
then default location (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AR
System\HOME) then macro i recognized and run. Why is that? I have a DFS-folder
(Microsoft Distributed File System) where I would like to place all my macros,
there by haring one instance of then macros in my cluster.
The second problem is that when I get it to run (using a command-prompt) I get
no resultning file placed in the desired directory. Notice that it works fine
in my ARS 6.3 enviroment. I get a message from then command-prompt saying: "env
is not set". Any idea to why this is???
Kindes regards
Andreas Munch
