The best help I can give you is to tell you to do these things: 1) Familiarize yourself with the Remedy documentation. There is an entire book (all are in .pdf format) just documenting the Remedy Error messages. Everything a new person could do with AR System is pretty much documented in the rest of the manuals. Start with the document called "Master Index". It will tell you which manual to find any topic in. 2) Search the ARSList archives. Most of the problems you will encounter are ones someone else has already solved. 3) As a last resort, search the BMC KB. There isn't as much information in there as one would hope, but once in a while, we get lucky. 4) Get a test/play server, on which you can try things out without affecting production. This can be on a regular PC running XP Pro if necessary.
