Hi listers... One of our Remedy instances is running on IM 7.03 with MT 7.1 patch 5. She is running a large Incident search that returns ~100,000 records (1 month worth of issues in our case) which she then wants to run an AR report off of. The search fails with an "Exception error" but works when the query is split into 1-week chunks. I get the same results when I do it on my machine. Two weeks worth of Incidents is about 53,000 of them and that uses up 973 MB of local RAM on my machine in IE 6. I get an out of memory error when I try to retrieve more which is slightly different than her machine but I can't guarantee our machines are the same configuration. For all appearances this is just a local workstation memory issue and I can't think of any way to address that other than adding memory to her machine. But just to be thorough I thought I'd ask if anyone else ran into this and if there was any sort of tuning they thought of to fix it. William Rentfrow Principal Consultant, StrataCom Inc.
