buying BMC Analytics will not get you reports in AR System over the web. BOXI that comes with BMC Analytics is for use with BMC Analytics ONLY. You can't use it as your Crystal Report Server for the web. The version that comes with BMC Analytics is Business Objects Professional. Professional limits use to ONE BO module in this case, Analytics. To use with multiple modules (analytics and reporting) you have to purchase the upgrade to BO Premium from SAP. Or just buy Crystal Reports module and don't have Analytics.

Hello,
I am trying to nail down support for Business Objects XI 3.1...
According to the compat matrix Business Analytics 2.5.01 installs BOXI 3.1 however, the ARS 7.5 matrix says it is not supported.
So...anyone from BMC want to clarify? In order to distribute reports over the web on ARS 7.5 do I have to buy BMC Analytics?? Will there be a patch\upgrade to ARS to work with BOXI 3.1 or higher...in case I can't afford BMC Analytics.
