Patrick, The way that system works is the following (this is from incident, as SLM does NOT feed through the NTE Notification engine unless you configure the push fields to do that).
Incident ticket is created. Notification is supposed to go out (filters fire). It pushes a value (Notification Tag) down to the NTE:SYS-NT Process Control form. It will sit in the Process control form until the escalation comes along and updates the z1D Action field. The Process Control from then picks up the information for that tag from the form: SYS:Notification Messages This is the message that has the information and you need to have the notification event there as well. Then the NTE:SYS-NT Process control from will push the notification onto the Group NT Control form or the Individual Control form depending on the type of notification. Those forms will then look at a Person's Notification Preferences, which are defined for each person in the NTE:CFG-Notification Events (System Default are there for everyone, where as User defined are for a specific person, and those over ride the System Default ones).
