The minimal requirements of RAM are 2GB+ for ARS 7.1 and ITSM 7.3. On the other hand you must check a couple of things first:
* Are you using indexes on the forms other than the predefined ones? * If you monitor your DB, are you seeing locked tables or an unusual size increase on one table (specially B'X' or H'X') * Do you have escalations modifying a large ammount of data on short intervals? * Do you manage the DB in other way than the one that uses ARS? * Are you seeing API Calls fails on the API log? * Do you perform a specific task when you notice the bad performance? * Which kind of client are you using (Fat OR Web), and the clients behave the same? * What are you seeing in performance manager regarding arserverd process?
