There was a very recent thread on this same topic with detailed instructions for what was necessary to make this work. Wes's response was part of that solution. I would recommend searching the archive for the prior post. I think it was within the last couple weeks or so.

The one issue I see is that with IIS I cannot get the jakarta re director to load under the ISAPI Filters tab. It lets me add it but it never says its UP.
