I have just gone through the long and difficult process of integrating a custom built application into the the ITSM 7.5 Overview Console. It is a very not intuitive process with many steps and lots of nonsense.

So that I wouldn't have to recreate this process again in the future, I wrote it all down in a Word document. If anyone has a need for such, please let me know and I will forward it to you.

Here is the introductory paragraph:

Introduction
BMC Remedy ITSM 7.5 and beyond includes a form accessible from the Homepage called the Overview Console (listed under the oddly named “Foundation Elements” section). This form is intended to be a one- stop-shop where you can see all the tickets in the system where you are the Assignee or where the ticket is assigned to your Group. It works great out-of-the-box if you are using an ITSM application (Incident, Change, Asset, etc.) but what about those who would like to create a custom application and have those custom tickets show up in the Console as well? The Console includes a table which references a Vendor form which is a central form which points to all the relevant ITSM forms. The data is gathered via an SQL plugin and displayed back to the Overview Console. It is much more complicated than the old Consolidated List of Remedy 6 and below.
