Hi Fred,

thank you for your timely answer. I understand what you described but I'd like
to know how to create an external webservice which is then used within a
filter. It's not a Remedy webservice.

Regards,
Christoph

I take it you want an external system to be able to send data to and read data
from Remedy.

First, in order to have a Remedy hosted web service you have to have a Remedy
Mid-Tier running on a web server. Do you have that?

To create the service all you have to do is to open the admin tool. Right
click on the form you wish to read/update, and choose Create Web Service. Pick
the Operation you want to do (Get, Set, Create), map the inbound fields, and
the outbound fields.

Fred

Hi everyone,

could someone please provide me with an example of how to create a simple
external webservice with input/output parameters that works with ARS 6.3? Many
thanks.

Regards,
Christoph
