We are upgrading from ARS 7.0.01/ITSM 7.1 to ARS 7.5p4/ITSM7.6p1, have
row-level access restrictions in CTM:People and have noticed the following:
Using the Incident form (Standard view not the Best Practices view)
entering a Last Name/First Name (eg, Underwood/Jack) combination, that
is unique in the CTM:People form, and clicking the Search button or
Enter to auto-complete, the complete Customer Information populates (for
Jack Underwood) even though I do *not* have access to it by row-level
access restrictions. This is not expected.
When searching with less letters in the name (eg. Under/J) causing more
results to be available, the People search form opens and the results
table shows only the records to which I actually have access (eg, John
Underwood and Jane Underdahl). The match that was found previously (eg,
Jack Underwood) does not show up in the results list. This is expected.
Clicking the Search button under the Customer Information information
and searching for the same Last Name/First Name (eg, Underwood/Jack)
results in an error "There are no People that match the search criteria
entered" as expected.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?
