Richard,
There are plenty of ways to do this. One of them is implementing DSO 
(Distributed Server Object) server. Based on configuration, DSO can move data 
from 1 server to another instantaneously. More information can be found in 6.3 
documentation(DSOAdminGuide-630.pdf).

We need to copy data from one server to another  
but have a few questions…such as is the migrator 
robust/reliable enough to do it, and at what version 
and patch level? Is there a specific procedure that we 
need to follow/a particular order to have the best 
chance for success? Any/all help/suggestions/cautions 
are appreciated…..
