Will that work with a 7.5 database? From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Chintan Shah Sent: Tuesday, July 27, 2010 2:47 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Moving/copying data from one server to another...
** Richard, There are plenty of ways to do this. One of them is implementing DSO (Distributed Server Object) server. Based on configuration, DSO can move data from 1 server to another instantaneously. More information can be found in 6.3 documentation(DSOAdminGuide-630.pdf). Thanks Chintan. --- On Tue, 7/27/10, Richard Copits <[email protected]> wrote: From: Richard Copits <[email protected]> Subject: Moving/copying data from one server to another... To: [email protected] Date: Tuesday, July 27, 2010, 10:42 AM ** We need to copy data from one server to another but have a few questions…such as is the migrator robust/reliable enough to do it, and at what version and patch level? Is there a specific procedure that we need to follow/a particular order to have the best chance for success? Any/all help/suggestions/cautions are appreciated….. ________________________________ Portions of this message may be confidential under an exemption to Ohio's public records law or under a legal privilege.
