This is a known defect we ran into a while back on ITSM 7.0.03. We got a fix, because we are not seeing the issue any more. I double checked on my 7.6 ITSM and am not seeing the issue. What was happening was that it was editing the work info that was highlighted when you clicked “view” instead of the one you chose after you opened the view window. This also meant you had to close the view window and open it again if you wanted to modify more than one work info entry.
I thought I had remembered this being fixed by patch 7 for ITSM 7.0.03, it might have been patch 9. I may not be seeing it in 7.6 because I upgraded rather than put a fresh install and the fix they put in for 7.0.03 was maintained through the upgrade. Just a thought. Close change request <<first image>> Re-open change request. Add 2 or 3 additional work info entries. <<second image>> Click view button for work info history. Modify the first work info entry you created. ***notice that the first work info you created, although you modified it, was not modified.
