Hi Barb,

As you know, the main purpose of the multi-tenancy feature in the ITSM app is 
for permissions/access control. The secondary purpose is to partition 
foundational data per company. So if these are not your goals, then I would try 
to keep only one operating company, and use the Organization field instead.

Hi All

Just checking to see if anyone has some been there and wish they would have 
done it differently thoughts on Company Setup

Current ITSM environment has a single company setup and everything runs under 
one Operating Company

I am in the process of setting up a fresh 7.6.03 environment and have HR Data 
that has multiple companies .... I am trying to decide if ... I should split 
out the Companies and line them up with the HR Data Companies or just keep my 
single Company and track the individual companies in a different way - in some 
instances the Company is important and in many others ... it doesn't make any 
difference

So... just looking for hindsight - does anyone have opinions on if one way is 
better than another

Environment is single tenant and no plans to change that
