Hi Gavin,
Not sure I am right
Second one will work.

Since you are using this in filter and doing some operation which is on
database level.
Database only recognize operation like "%" and "_"

Regards
Rajesh

Subject: LIKE Query

Hi List - we've got an interesting problem here.

What is the difference between the following:

LIKE "Company" + "%"

LIKE "Company%"

I would have assumed nothing, but one of these works and one doesn't. Is there
anybody that can explain the difference? I've run across this before, but never
really wanted to find out WHY it worked / didn't work.

The above qualification occurs in a Filter Run If statement.

Thanks,

Gavin Coleman
