What database are you on?

If I recollect right, MS-SQL was picky between LIKE “Company” + “%” ***and***
LIKE “Company%”.

It used to not like LIKE “Company%”

On Oracle and the later versions of MS-SQL, both should return consistent
results..

Hi List – we’ve got an interesting problem here.

What is the difference between the following:

LIKE “Company” + “%”

LIKE “Company%”

I would have assumed nothing, but one of these works and one doesn’t. Is there
anybody that can explain the difference? I’ve run across this before, but never
really wanted to find out WHY it worked / didn’t work.

The above qualification occurs in a Filter Run If statement.

Thanks,
