Those of you that have used the ITSM Data Wizard will know that you can use it to change a Company name in the system from an existing value to a new value. However, you cannot change a Company name to a name that already exists. So, if you want to merge two companies because, for instance, a company was created twice by mistake with names spelt differently, then it's not possible via the wizard. Has anyone disabled the workflow that prevents this? I asked BMC Support and they haven't tested disabling this workflow so they don't recommend it in case it breaks both companies.
