The license for the embedded AR System search engine provided with AR System
7.6.03 is included in the IT Service Management 7.6.03 Suite Solution Pack.
This search engine powers both the FTS product as well as RKM.

The Full Text Search product in AR System 7.6.03 is no longer licensed per user
- the included search engine license activates FTS for all users on the system
and enables use of the RKM application once RKM is licensed. RKM (Remedy
Knowledge Management) is still licensed on a per user basis, so capacity
against RKM must be purchased separately.

** Along the same line, what about the required FTS license? Is that now
considered part of the RKM purchase r do you need to purchase a separate FTS
license?

Unless they have changed the model recently, the KMR licenses do not come with
AR licenses and in fact if you integrate KMR in with AR you will need a fixed
AR license as well.

Does anyone know how user licensing work for Knowledge Management for Remedy
7.6.03? Do the floating and fixed KMR user licenses also come with a AR
license?

Thanks
