Did you make sure that the new categorization was also in the Product Catalog? Also, if it is the same as 7.5, once you have run the normalization job on the CI once, there is a hidden NormalizationStatus field that prevents the normalization from running again. You can make it "visible" with the Class Manager and then be able to modify it and try again. .... Dan

Normalize one or more versions of a product name into a standard name. I created the product, a desktop (Optiplex 745), set up a model name normalization alias, and set up a normalization job for my personal sandbox in a 7.6 environment. After fixing an error that was logged because I hadn't set the product as "Approved," when I run my normalization job it completes w/o erroring on my CI instance (that has the alias model name) but it is not updating my product name as I expected. -- Chris Danaceau AttivaSoft Solutions Architect _attend WWRUG11 www.wwrug.com ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are"_ _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org attend wwrug11 www.wwrug.com ARSList: "Where the Answers Are"
