Hi Sabyson, Thanks for response environment details are SQL 2005 database ,7.5 patch 4 ARServer, ITSM 7.5 patch 4 Ye\\and Yes I search by change request Id.
Regarding pulling the Tasks which are related to Change and creating a table on the View form that display's the tasks I tried but throwing SQL error because View form won't let me create any fields on the form even though I pulled the tasks but I can do a qualification with Change ID relating the Change ID in the Task ....it giving intensive querying timed out error.... Initially there were tables in 7.5 database the previous developer didn't moved properly it is creating lot errors so they want to move from 7.5 database......I tried to convince my manager but .... at last he convinced me to work around. 1. What happens if and when the ARS 63 database is retired ans: I asked the same question to my manger he didn't have any clue he told me that there are lot of valuable records where lot of group's are going to use. 2. Is it not better that the DBA's have one less database to support I don't know I never thought about this. We have lot of DB's. 3.Easier development with a local copy of the data as you do not need to check if the remote database is up when querying the data from the 63 database. ans:Yes....there lot of benefit's with this ....manager has to listen to higher authorities I have to listen to him.
