Because the BMC support policy is version based and not time based, there is no specific end-of-support date currently for 7.1.00. However, do keep in mind that 7.1.00 was released 31-Aug-2007. If you take a look at the support lifecycle of AR System historically, you'll find that AR System releases are typically supported for 36-54 months, with an average of about 4 years. Thus, were I to provide guidance, I would not expect AR System 7.1.00 to be supported much past mid-CY 2011 since that would be the 4 year mark. I would recommend that any customer who is still on AR System 7.1.00 start planning in the next 6-9 months to upgrade to a later version. -David J.
