Fair point about CMDB changes but I think that only the change in the way
virtual systems are stored will cause a problem.

TD doesn't use AIE so that's not an issue (and neither does ADDM but
Configuration Discovery - Marimba does).

I doubt that BMC has an updated integration for TD but it could be worth
asking.

** Classes changed and cmdb is different,
cmdb will have to 7.5 P3 (I think) and above and cmdb 7.5 is not compatible
with the aie CDI ...

you need to look at the CDI, AIE and CMDB -- These must match, and the ADDM
then will work with them.
I know, cause we have to upgrade to 7.5 P3 or above to make everything work
correctly with BCA, and BEIM and ADDM.

But you do what you want.. I am just saying..

I don't see why it wouldn't still work.

TD pushes data to the CMDB using the Remedy api. This route is still there.

Your upgrade will preserve the TD classes and attributes added when you ran
the integration.

Hi All,

I have a query regarding Discovery Tool. We are using TD1.6 with CMDB 2.0
version. We need to upgrade to CMDB 7.6.

Is TD1.6 is compatible with CMDB 7.6 version?

Regards,

Vidhi Sharma
