Trying to do a fresh installation of ARS 7.5 on windows 2003 and SQL 2005. when I run thru the installer I select Windows authentication - using a service account which has SA access to the database server (on remote server) and also an admin on the ARS server. I am noticing that at some point in the installer, the installer deletes the service account from the SA group in the database server and then I get invalid login errors to the database and thus the database does not get created.
I do see that all the installation files are there on the ARS server, the service is there also but doesn't start. And no database.. any ideas what to try? I also tried using SQL server authentication using the ARAdmin account but received the "user is already logged in" error when trying to install. Should I create a blank db, and then retry? Previously I was running the installer and letting it create the db.. Thanks!
