Below is the job description: Primary Skills: Remedy development experience with ARS 6.X, ARS 7.x, ITSM 7.x, SLM and Atrium CMDB. Description: DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: This candidate will be responsible for the configuration, development and administration of the BMC Remedy ITSM applications and implementation of new functionality including forms, workflow, alerts, filters, escalations, menus and other related components based on agreed business requirements. The candidate is responsible for architecting, deploying, supporting and providing training for ITSM SUITE of Remedy Products. Additional responsibilities will include but not limited to: • Configure BMC 7.X Remedy applications. • Customize BMC 7.X Remedy applications. • Provide solution designs based on requirements. • Scope and develop custom applications. • Provide system and customization documentation. • System troubleshooting. • Install and configure all ITSM SUITE of Remedy 7.X applications. • Implement integrations to the ITSM 7.X Remedy applications. • Provide leadership and project management. • Mentor staff. • Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration and Asset Management, Service Level Management, CMDB, • Knowledge Management. Knowledge of ITIL and other IT Best Practices frameworks (Ideally, Foundations Certified) MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED: # Years Experience Minimum 4 to 6 of IT work, experience in systems, or other administration and programming to include Remedy development experience with ARS 6.X, ARS 7.x, ITSM 7.x and Atrium CMDB. Solid experience with BMC Remedy's Action Request System (ARS) 6.x and 7.X Solid experience installing, configuring, developing and customizing BMC Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) 7.X applications (Help Desk, Change Management, Asset Management, Atrium CMDB). Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. Experience configuring BMC/Remedy products and full product life-cycle to include development, integration, testing and documentation. Experience with custom Remedy workflow, forms, reports and filters design and development to meet specified requirements. Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills to resolve highly complex software design issues and create new software for multiple products. Experience with JAVA, or C, or scripting to develop custom workflow and APls. Knowledge of ITIL Framework and best practice processes. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Degree / Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
