Marc, Despite the fact that I'm hitting production with 7.6.4 SP1 this month, I would recommend going with 7.5 Patch 7 (or later if available)..it was a good solid release for us and been in production for almost a year with no problems..
7.6.4 on the other hand has TONS of bugs in non patched, and still some in SP1 that I'm aware of.I would let this one get a bit mature before I would suggest it to all but the most hearty of you out there..this particular upgrade has been a tough one for us.
