Hi,

ACTL:s should do data validation ONLY if you have matching FLTR:s in place
that does the same thing.

ACTL:s can help you give the user early feedback before everything is
filled in and sent to the server, but the only place where you can prevent
things from getting wrong is FLTR:s.

The only other fool-proof way is to use field limits (such as pattern
matching) and permissions.
