Client side logging in 7.6.04 is not pretty.  We have had to cut and paste a
lot in to notepad or some type of editor.  Client side logging will pop up
another browser window and start generating the logs from login.  At least
with the user tool you can turn it on and off at certain points and save to
a file.  You can still use the client tool to generate logs.  You will just
have to go to the specific form you are looking for.  The consoles will not
work in the client tool.  We still use the client tool for a lot of logging.

Hi Team,

 

We have recently installed ITSM 7.6.04 on Windows 2003 server. As recomended
by BMC, users are using web to work on incident management system. The
question is, how do we get client logging for active links and filters as we
got from user tool. I enabled the loggong from AR user preference form but
it genrates lot of logs and does not get saved in some file. 

 

Any help would be appreciated,
