Does anybody know how integrations are supposed to work with ROD? Meaning - if you have a tool that monitors a log file -- and an error is found and you want to create an Incident - what are your options?
Can you use the normal Remedy Java API to do so - or do you have to use WebServices -- or are their other techniques? Also - regarding licensing - can that "create" -- be done as a Read-Only user? Can that process also update it's own ticket - if the issue is auto-resolved? Is RoD "submitter mode locked" ? Does BMC charge a fee for allowing the integrations? How is that monitored and supported? Other questions I should be asking ??? -John -- John Sundberg Save the Date!
