Brian,

Like everyone says it really depends, but on average I would say the salary
table is as follows:

Remedy Admin 1-2 years experience - $55,000 - $65,000
Junior Remedy Developer 1-3 years experience - $65,000 - $85,000
Mid-Level Remedy Developer 3-5 years experience $85,000 - $110,000
Senior Level Remedy Developer 5-10 years experience $100K - $150K
Solutions Architect 10+ years experience $150K-$175K

These would be general numbers and a lot of factors would go into the exact
salary. A remedy developer with 10 years of experience that has been on the
same contract for 10 years working on version 6.0, would probably not
warrant as much as a developer with 5 years experience implementing the
latest and greatest at a couple different places. I have seen a lot of
remedy developers demand high salaries because of years of experience.
However, quantity is not always quality. I have seen some ambitious
developers with only 3 years experience demand $100K+ salaries. Some
organizations will probably pay this amount, but I'm sure the position would
be short lived. If I see a remedy developer with 3 years experience asking
for $100K+ and they have been on 5 different jobs in the last 3 years red
flags start coming up. I've also seen some RACs out there with 10+ years
experience looking for high salaries that don't have nearly as much quality
experience as a more mid-level developer with 5 years experience.

I hope this helps and good luck in your quest. I would be more than happy
to look through your resume and give you a better gauge. I might also have
some work for you depending on where you are looking. You can email me
separate from the list at [email protected]

Subject: The value of a remedy admin

So I recently found out that because of cutbacks, my full time employment
was to be terminated. I haven't had to worry about job searching in a while
and feel a tad behind the times. I've been through a few interviews but when
the subject of compensation comes up I am at a loss.

What does a regular full time Remedy admin/dev In the US make these days?

Brian

PS I understand that salary varies by experience and location. Just looking
for some numbers to quantify with.
