I don't think Oracle is interested at all in acquiring BMC, I don't think t would be a good fit for either one. However, it was a very good thing that Oracle got Sun, including all the hardware (SPARC, storage, etc) and all the software (Java, Solaris, etc). Looks like the only part that is not clear in that acquisition is mySQL, we'll see.
