It can come from the user security embedded with the analytics universe. At the web intelligence designer see the SQL generated and execute it directly at the database. If it reports no records even when executed directly at the database it can be because the reason I said.
The BO user must exist on CTM:People form and needs visibility to the companies you want to see at analytics.
