Larry, You don't mention which version of SRM you are on. We are on 2.2, so I don't know if this has changed for later versions. Take a look at the "SRM:CategoryReference" form, which is where the DVF for navigation gets its values. The relevant fields:
- Category_Level - self explanatory - Instance ID - identifier for category - CategoryParent_InstanceID - the instance ID of the parent record in the heirarchy. Obviously, this will be blank for level 1 records. - Browse Visibility - this can come into play, but is not usually the issue. There was a defect on our version where this category reference form would get out of sync with the SRM:Navigational Category form. You can delete the records as needed, taking the appropriate precautions (don't delete a level 2 if it has any corresponding level 3 records, or they end up orphaned).
