See if any XML files are created in the db directory The other thing is can you consume the service in soapUI? (Maybe there is something strange in the service you are consuming) What if you try to build your filter in the Admin tool? When testing a filter that contains the web service, it does not even hit the java plugin as none of the arjava log get updated at the time of the error.
