That would be very helpful as overview console is very slow we switched a
lot of folks who need frequent refreshes to use Incident console or change
console as their homepage.
Because of this now they lost the direct visibility of the tasks.
We end up creating a new left navigation item on Incident Console to search
for tasks.

Right now Incident console is a little faster than overview console in
rendering the results, since it does not have to go through queries of the
child records like tasks.
If BMC can figure it out without impacting the performance I think it would
be very useful.

Also I wonder why BMC did not have a stand alone console for Tasks like
incident and changes.
We always get requests from task implementors on how to get to a task
without using overview console(as is slow) and without navigating through
parent tickets, some thing like directly from homepage. They just want to
work on their task and close it.

Also the whole task implementation is quite bulky and not very user
friendly.
Just see the scenario where you have 10 tasks in sequence(1 to 10). Now you
want to change task sequenced at 10 to 1. You have to click 9 times to make
it sequence 1.
We have users who frequently put 20 to 30 tasks to a change tkt and they
need to rearrange tasks a few times during their life cycle and I have no
words describing the pain they have to go through.
They end up coming to us for help and we hack it from the back end task
forms.
