What I have noticed in DS 7.6.04 is the View ID cannot be changed for the initial view of a new form. When adding additional views to a form you can change the View ID before saving the new view.
I have used archgid.exe to update View IDs without any issue. Looks like Victor will need to use archgid.exe to change the initial View ID for a new form and then from there on out you can change it in Dev Studio.
