Good morning ARS Listers. I take it that the ARS Server documentation format has changed from pdf files to html. Or are pdf files still available?
I'm asking because the html documentation for installing the ARS Server is a bit light, and it's referencing the install spreadsheet, which doesn't seem to be matched up with the installer panels that I'm seeing. The information there is a bit light as well. We're getting hung up on the database panels. Is the installer creating the ARSystem user, called ARAdmin, or am I supposed to create that user beforehand? Furthermore, is there a way to specify that I may have created the ARSystem database beforehand? How would the installer know I've done that? We're also having problems where the installer doesn't seem to recognize anything but the default instance, and only then when the instance name is not included. Anything else, and the installer says that that database is not recognized.
