Like Doug said, that error has not bearing on the startup of the AR System
server. You can initialize the AR System startup log by modifying the
armonitor.conf file, and putting the –s flag in the line that has the
arserver startup defined. This will create a new log file in the AR Server
directory.

You could also have a look at the armonitor.log file (though that might not
tell you much beyond just the regular start server and stop server logs.)

This error is reported, but should not stop the AR System server from
starting or from functioning fully. This

message should have no relationship to any issue about starting the
environment.

I assume there is nothing else in the error log and the server service is
not just taking a few minutes to get

going.

If you cannot get it started, I strongly suggest you open an immediate
ticket with support to get their

assistance.

Subject: BMC Remedy ARS Service could not Start

**

Hello guys,

I am trying to start the arsserver service but I cannot start it.

When I check the event log I got an error said:

390600 : Une licence fixe d'application de ce type a été attribuée à plus
d'utilisateurs que le nombre de licences valides en votre possession :
(ARERR 9852) : BMC:Problem Mgmt

which is in English:

An Application fixed license of this type has been assigned to more users
than the number of

valid licenses you have

Can any one please help me, I tried to reboot the server but it does not
work
