You need to understand the way a CR thing runs in Remedy-the manual does describe how it works
Parameters in a Crystal Report are ignored when the report is run inside Remedy. You need to add the CR to the Report form and run it from there; selecting the relevant criteria. This will perform a search of the indicated form and present the selected data to the CR. Effectively the CR report is just become a presentation engine. Running the CR outside of Remedy via the ODBC driver allows you to use all the good stuff available in Crystal Reports.
