Last year I walked from the airport (San Jose) to the hotel. I figured
that was the most I was going to see outside for a week so I might as well
enjoy it. It was a nice walk but I should have worn walking shoes. This
year I think I am going to take a hybrid approach. Walk to the light rail
which is about a mile away and that will take me right to the Fairmont in
less than 20 minutes.
