Point and score! That's what I'm doing this year. Last year I arrived way too early (Friday or Saturday I think) and had all the time in the world to explore before going to the hotel so took the train..

I mean, really, how much effort do I have to put in to save my company a couple of bucks? Curt A. That being said, I'll pose one more (set of) questions... I was planning on taking the train from the airport to the hotel. I'm flying into SJC on Sunday afternoon. It looks like there is an airport shuttle (Airport Flyer - VTA Route #10) that leaves every 15 minutes or so from the terminals to the Metro Light Rail Station (1st Street and Metro Drive) (http://www.vta.org). From what I can tell, I'll need exact change ($2) to board and will ride the 901 southbound to the "Paseo De San Antonio Station (0)" or the "San Antonio Station (1)". Here is where my list of questions starts. Which of these stops is the one I'm looking for? How am I sure I'm boarding south vs. north? Are there announcements on the rail cars to tell you which stop you are approaching? Is it going to be difficult to ride the rail with a weeks' worth of luggage in tow? The VTA website has an interactive map (http://www.vta.org/schedules/lr_interactive_map/lrBusMap.html) which shows the line I think I want to take - Alum Rock - Santa Teresa line (blue) - and it shows the Paseo De San Antonio line but the schedule located at http://www.vta.org/schedules/SC_901SO_SU.html doesn't actually show either of the stops listed above. Is it normal practice to just show the major stops and I need to estimate the stops in between? I think I'm overthinking this, but I'd feel much better being prepared going in. If I wasn't hauling all of my stuff around, I wouldn't worry so much as it would be more of an "adventure" but who wants to keep back-tracking, etc. with everything in tow... Any and all advice/suggestions appreciated. Curt A.
