BMC finally split the training tracks to provide ITSM administrator and ARS
Developer separately.

I took the BMC Classes (AR System) when we were at 6.3. I took the Webinar,
then the Admin part 1 and Admin part 2. But then again, I was a custom
developer at the time and these classes helped me understand filters, active
links, Midtier, escalations, etc....

I see they have AR System 8.0 Foundation part 1 and 2 and then AR System 8.0
Developer part 1 and 2. I think the Admin classes I took were equivalent to
the
Developer classes, but I'm not sure.

I also took ITIL Foundations class through BMC. All in all, I liked their
classes...

**
Paul,
Just to throw an idea out there..
How about reaching out to some of the unemployed folks on this list to do a
knowledge transfer remotely at a negotiated hourly rate? In my experience, real
world knowledge transfer was better than classroom training.

Anyone have any recommendations on some online training for a new
admin/developer? Do you recommend BMC classes or through another vendor?
