That would be a client function but some folks are external and internet facing 
so I see your point... Yet is still some back to a antivirus/malware based 
application.  If inside you open the attachment and the anti viral software 
detects it, you delete attachment I suppose problem solved.   Because it is 
just compressed into a clob/blob application is not affected..
