I'll add one thing - this is our best practices method for restarting the server group at one of our customers.
If we do make a change to the Server Group Operation Ranking form we... 1.) Make the change 2.) Shut down all the servers 3.) Restart the admin server and let it come up completely 4.) Start the others I'll skip the rather long laundry list of reasons we came up with that but I will say that it works well when we do it this way. Also, it's nice to have some sort of method to your madness.
