Howard, Those are great points you just made. However, those points reaffirm the disappointment people are feeling. You went to WWRUG last year and found out about BMC's direction, got a sneak peak at Project Galileo and it helped you make some key decisions in your organization. In addition, there were a plethora of technical sessions at the RUG as well. There's no reason that you can't have both technical and strategic marketing sessions at the same conference. Obviously BMC understands this as they were a major sponsor of the WWRUG. Maybe the one glimmer of hope that we have is that in the Session Catalog, it states "Subject to change" at the bottom. I would hope that with the groundswell of criticism they are facing from an important forum such as this, BMC would restructure some of these sessions and include a few more technical papers that by all assumptions have been "rejected." It may be why they haven't sent out any notices to folks that were rejected.
