Hi Madhu, I believe your mid-tier version is also 7.6.04 SP2 which is quite old , where we did observed few caught exceptions problems.
Best bet is to upgrade mid-tier to latest version & apply latest hotfix on top of it..either 7.6.04 SP5 or 8.1 SP1. It doesn't take much time to upgrade only mid-tier component.
