Agreed - I've seen similar things happen when we didn't have enough connections
configured.

Sounds definitely like an Oracle configuration issue.

Would be interesting to open multiple sqlplus sessions using your Oracle
Remedy-account, and see what happens...

Subject: One Server from Server Group getting SQL error
**
Any ideas or suggestions on what to look at would be GREATLY appreciated.

I have two servers in a server group. When one is brought up we are fine.
When we bring the second one up, it seems to steal the DB connection. If we
recycle the first one it will take back the connection. And the server that
was running the longest seems to lose the connection.

The error that we are getting is:

The SQL database operation failed. : ORA-01012: not logged on Process ID: 9404
Session ID: 927 Serial number: 38337 (ARERR 552)

Again, any suggestions on what to look at would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you,

Brian Goralczyk
