I'm looking for your experiences out there when you have moved your existing AR System platform from IPv4 to IPv6?
I was wondering if the Physical (MAC) Address changes? That would impact the AR Server Licenses. Would the Physical Address change? Can it be spoofed back to the old address like we could for IPv4 and still have things work? Is there anything else to watch out for? Any of the existing supported apps have a problem with IPv6 (I'm assuming no but thought I would ask for your experiences anyway). Have you'll faced any problem with any of the supported web servers after switching to IPv6? Have you'll faced any issues with the Mid-Tier application? Have you'll faced any problem with supported DB clients and their connectivity to the database? Have you'll had to reconfigure anything at all on your Firewall or your Load Balancers (specifically F5)? The above are just examples of questions I'm looking for answers to. If you'll have any gotchas outside of these questions, please share as it might help me with planning out an upgrade I am tasked with.
