Hi, how can I delete bases? If I mark one or more bases and then select from the Edit menu 'Delete selected bases' I always get an error messages 'cannot delete - there are features within the selected range'. But the selected bases are not covered by a feature and the 'Add bases at selection' works fine. The modification I want to do is within an intron, wo there is an mRNA and CDS feature around the selected position. With adding bases all feature positions are recalculated correctly. So why can't I remove bases?
