Hi All,
please can you tell me if anybody has been able to generate a comparison
file on a windows machine. Megablast doesn't give enough detail for my
purposes so usually I run the big_blast.pl script supplied by sanger.
However this does not work on windows (something to do with setting
STOUT to a file I believe).Since we would like non-IT savvy peeople who
do noy have access to unix machines to generate comparison files, I am
wondering whether anybody has had success in running big_blast,pl on
windows or adapting it for the purpose.
