Hello, This might bump up an very old thread but i have a similar question:
I downloaded artemis and moved it to the application folder in snow leopard. Downloaded fasta-35.4.11 > moved to artemis /fasta/bin /fasta/src ... etc and installed it according to the readme file Now downloaded: the blast from July 15, 2008 with the formatdb. The newer versions have different files... and setup_dbs.sh will crash placed everything into blast dir Now running the setup_dbs.sh... anything else that i need to do or think of? Because the artemis manual doesn't say anything about how to setup a blast program...
